Serves as the agency benefits coordinator; assists employees with insurance, deferred comp, TexFlex and COBRA questions and forms, and coordinates workers compensation claims for ERS employees. Coordinates acquisition of temporary personnel and acts as ERS liaison with temporary personnel agencies; on-boards temporaries and contractors. Represents Human Resources on the ERS Safety Committee. Process name and address changes in PeopleSoft and ERS OnLine. Verifies prior state service on all ERS employees, updates in PeopleSoft, and ensures proper longevity credit is calculated. Prepares/generates signature-ready congratulatory letters for Executive Directors signature. Coordinates the Tuition Reimbursement Program; processes requests and payments. Maintains all section files in accordance with retention scheduleProcesses separation paperwork; conducts exit interviews, audits leave records, and completes Personnel Action Form.
