The Database Administrator performs moderately complex database administration work. Work involves planning, developing, maintaining, and monitoring integrated database systems; developing and implementing database policies and procedures; and maintaining data integrity. A great candidate will have an understanding of data analysis and database, below is a brief listing of position duties:
Provides customer service and answers user inquiries regarding computer software, hardware operation, and the use and interface of systems and software applications.
Provides operational assistance in the implementation, utilization and maintenance of data processing hardware or software.
Installs, updates, upgrades, maintains, repairs and tests software.
Maintains records of daily data communication transactions, problems, remedial actions taken, and installation activities.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Experience in computer systems, data analysis, or database development and maintenance work.
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in computer science, management information systems, or a related field is preferred. Education and experience may be substituted for one another.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
Knowledge of Oracle and/or SQL Server database management systems.
Knowledge of C#, HTML, and JavaScript to support web-based applications.
Familiarity with XML.
Familiarity with database techniques and practices.
Skill in complex problem solving, in critical thinking, and in the operation of computers and applicable computer software.
Ability to identify and define user functional and technical database needs, to conduct short-range and long-range project planning studies, to develop reports, and to communicate effectively.
Ability to gather, assemble, correlate, and analyze facts.
Ability to assess future information needs so that the databases can evolve in an appropriate manner.
Ability to develop reports and cross references from the data dictionary.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
