Administrative Assistant
Education and/or Experience High School Diploma and two (2) years of previous experience in an office environment.
SUMMARY ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES o Answer phones and ensure coverage at all times o Manage the front office area to ensure effective communications both internally and externally.
o Perform online ordering tasks o Maintain the maintenance of office equipment, including copier, fax machine, etc.
o Assess and order office supplies o Perform daily shipping and light bookkeeping tasks o Assist Controller with all bookkeeping related tasks o Assist Marketing and Sales Managers with all shipping/sales related tasks o Make travel arrangements as needed o Perform other related clerical duties, as required.
SKILLS o Excellent planning and organizational skills o Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills o Professional appearance and manner o Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook o Knowledge of QuickBooks o General Bookkeeping experience or knowledge o Be able to multi-task o Strong written and verbal grammar o 10-key and 40+wpm typing o Excellent phone etiquette and customer service o Punctuality and dependability are a must o Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required.
