Experience:
BS Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 5
years experience in Maintenance.
Knowledge of operations in a food or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Demonstrable experience in process improvement and lean manufacturing practices.
Knowledge in lean manufacturing principles (Kaizen, work balancing, 5S, TPM, Six Sigma, etc.
) Analytical, consistent problem solving, project management, strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
Utilizes root cause analysis techniques (fishbone diagram, Pareto charts, 5 Whys, etc.
) Understanding and knowledge of PLCs and ladder logic.
Position Description:
Responsible for Capital and Expense Projects and Budget.
Coordinates Engineering Projects with Plant and Divisional management to establish final scope of work.
Coordinates Project management activities with vendors and contractors to ensure Project deliverables are met on time and on budget.
Responsible for daily maintenance activities and developing, implementing and managing Preventive Maintenance activities.
