About architecture role:

Establishes software related security requirements and designs by evaluating project requirements and creating security artifacts and deliverables that comply with information security standards, and enterprise architectures.

Participates in efforts to improve the security of software development activities across assigned IT organization by promoting corporate standards, training and processes that result in secure software :
Assists with managing remediation plans for any security gaps reported in audits or recommended process improvements as related to the development or implementation of software.
Qualifications The GPSC Application Portfolio consists of legacy mainframe IMS, CICS and DB2 application components, distributed Java and Microsoft application components running on Z/OS, Solaris, Linux and Windows operating systems, Relation Database Technologies (Oracle, Ingres, SQL Server).
Additionally there are active SAP ERP deployments in various regions and business process areas.
The integration platform consists of legacy flat file formats, JCAPs and MQ messaging, Services Oriented, direct database access and EDI.
