Senior BI Analyst:

About the Role:
The Sr.
BI Analyst is a key strategic role that will influence and shape the Data Strategy and Architecture of how data is acquired, stored, integrated, transformed and consumed within the Global Purchasing and Supply Chain (GPSC) Organization.
This role is expected to create, champion and implement the GPSC Data/ Advanced Analytics strategy leveraging the existing GPSC Data Hub and the corporate EDW platform.
This is a hands:
on technical position that will, in addition, be responsible for driving data harmonization, reuse, quality, integration design, architectural compliance and capacity optimization on all projects associated with data integration, transformation, reporting and analytics.
Moreover this role will lead the creation of Enterprise level analytic solutions for strategic cross:
functional initiatives such as Dynamic Total Cost, Indirect Spend Aggregation and Material Performance Reporting.

A bachelor's degree in engineering, information technology, math, sciences or technical discipline or equivalent experience/training :

15 years of experience developing and implementing OLAP, MDM, ETL, BI/Reporting, and Advanced Analytics solutions :

years' experience in a Data Design/Architecture role on Data Warehouse or BI projects :

10 years of experience in design and development of integration/ETL components using IBM Data Stage, Oracle PL/SQL procedures and functions :
At least 3:
5 years of experience in Relational or Data Mart / Data Hub design (logical and physical) for applications using Oracle :
5:
10 years' experience developing reports using Cognos, Tableau or WebFocus tools :
Expertise in big data and advanced analytics leveraging tools such as Vertica, Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Hbase, Sqoop :

years' of experience engaging at leadership roles and driving cross:
functional programs :
Understanding of security, data quality, Export and SOX compliance needs :
Experience with various development methodologies (e.
g.
Agile, Scrum, waterfall, etc.
); experience with development tools such as ALM, iScrum :
