Quality Systems Engineer I.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Quality Systems Engineer will:

Lead internal Audits of Crawfordsville manufacturing facilities and serve as the Internal Audit Administrator.
:
Participate in onsite Supplier Audit at vendor facilities.
:
Work with the Quality Manager, Sales, Process Engineering, and Operations to improve the relationship between our customers, their requirements and process capabilities.
:
Develop standardized work for production areas.
:
Each employee will do one bi:
annual Quality/GMP Job Observation located on the EHS website.

Operations, Maintenance, and Production Control, Accounting, and Training PRODUCTS/SERVICES:

Expertise in Quality Systems :
Administrative assistance related to Quality Systems.
Counseling in implementation and maintenance of quality systems :
The Quality Systems Engineer reports directly to the Kilgore Quality Manager who reports to the Kilgore Plant Manager.
This position works with all areas of closure manufacturing, as well as customers or suppliers.

EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER SKILL REQUIREMENTS :
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering or a related area of study :
Extensive background in manufacturing (five to seven years minimum experience) :
Certification by the American Society of Quality or similar organization related to auditing :
Demonstrated understanding of industrial statistics (SPC) :
Demonstrated expertise in advanced quality tools such as DOE, FMEA, etc.

Analytical skills for both manufacturing and process:
related issues.

Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills :
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio Work Schedule:
8 hour days, with occasional after hours work Education/Training Requirements:
