Company Description Job Description Pinnergy is a diversified energy services company with a broad and comprehensive service offering to customers throughout Texas and Louisiana, and is one of the largest independent oilfield service companies in its industry.
Pinnergy has an immediate opening for an Accountant in its corporate office in Austin, Texas.
This position will report directly to the Controller.
Core
Responsibilities:
Coordinate monthly closing processes and assist with analyzing financial statements Assist Controller in accounting system management, sales/use, property & other State tax reporting, financial reporting processes & preparation for year-end, tax and customer audits Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Work closely with Financial Analysis team on financial reporting and financial report writing Prepare and post recurring and non-recurring journal entries Assist the Accounts Payable and Receivable staff with account recording issues Maintaining the fixed asset database Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required 2-7 years of accounting experience Strong communication & organizational skills Oil and Gas industry experience a plus Excellent in Microsoft Excel & Word Strong work ethic Benefits include:
