Automated testing and deployment are essential to our vision of producing quality software.
You do need to know enough about the tools the team is using to know if they are using them efficiently and know when there are gaps in the team's knowledge.
You need to be able to tell good code from bad, but here you should be able to trust the team leads to execute.
You will work closely with Operations, Architecture and Engineering to appropriately track release versioning and obtain release notes from the team.
Communication is paramount and you will make sure that management knows the progress of the development teams using dashboards and tools of the trade.
