Cisco Network Engineer - Signature Technology Group (Austin, TX)
Company Description Job Description We are actively seeking exceptional Cisco Professionals for a long term contract in Austin, TX.
GENERAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
o Minimum 3-5 years' experience working with Cisco technologies and Data Center Networks Design, Set up and/or operations o Consulting experience or equivalent experience is required o Ability to execute in a methodical manner to gather, document, and present specific customer requirements as well as articulate technical solutions o Exceptional documentation skills that can clearly articulate technical designs, issues and constraints, procedures, and network assessments o Strong analytical and problem determination/resolution skills o Excellent presentation and communication skills regarding technical and non-technical concepts o Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish professional working relationships with varying levels of both business and technical personnel o Self-directed to complete tasks in both a professional and timely manner with minimal supervision o A demonstrated history of delivering exceptional customer service o Travel for support client engagements within the Western Region is required and could be around 15% SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
o Comprehension of networking concepts including network design principles, data flow determination, routing, switching, VLANs, IP addressing, spanning-tree, etc.
o Familiarity with network scanning/analysis procedures and toolsets for network readiness assessments o Understanding of advanced networking technologies and solutions including IPV6, MPLS, BGP, EIGRP, HSRP, OSPF, multicast, policy-based routing, ether-channel, QoS, traffic-shaping, load balancing, VPN tunnels, WAN Optimization, etc.
o Demonstrated performance in a large-scale enterprise technical work environment with minimum of 3- 5 years of direct industry experience as described above o Experience with enterprise class network management/monitoring systems is a plus (CiscoWorks, Opsware, SMARTs, HP Openview, CA eHealth, etc.
) o Experience with performance management tools and services (OpNet, Compuware, NETMRI, WAAS, WCCP, NetMRI, etc.
) is a plus o Experience working on an operations environment is a plus Source:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
