Summary:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES o Installs heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment, as well as accessories, in accordance with company standards/requirements and manufacturer specifications.
o Designs, fabricates, and installs various ducts and duct fittings as necessary.
o Performs limited diagnostics, as necessary.
o Maintain a clean work area and safeguard client floors by laying drop cloths while performing installations.
o Wear floor savers while working in client homes.
o Inspection of area for cleanliness after job completion.
o Completion of installation forms which reflects tasks performed for reporting accuracy and future comparison.
o Effectively communicates with customer regarding questions, concerns, and problems.
o Performs start-ups on heating, cooling systems, and other components.
o Responsible for the delivery and removal of equipment needed to complete installation work.
o Confirms company vehicle is in safe working order.
o Ensures company property, vehicles, and tools are being properly used, maintained, and accounted for.
o Maintains safe working conditions for crew leader and apprentices.
o Ensures the company vehicle is properly stocked, returns defective warranty parts to the branch, and orders/replenishes vehicle stock as needed.
o Trains apprentice to:
o Properly fill out and organize job folder.
o Set an air conditioner, heat pump, furnace or air handler.
o Braze copper joints without leaks.
o Pull vacuums on refrigerant systems and test for tightness.
o Correctly install all versions of thermostats and wiring.
o Program all programmable thermostats.
o Install, wire, and plumb all IAQ products.
o Install duct work transitions in sheet metal and duct board.
o Install gas lines, flue pipes, and wiring for high and low voltage wiring applications as well as run flue liners.
o Maintain a professional image at all times by:
o Wearing only company approved apparel.
o Maintaining a courteous demeanor with all customers and associates.
o Respecting the customer's property.
o Participate in ALL company sponsored training classes.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:
o Must have a minimum of 3 years of verifiable installation work history.
o Must have appropriate trade tools.
o Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
EDUCATIONAL/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
o GED or High School Diploma.
o EPA Certification.
PREFERRED
Qualifications:
o NATE Certification.
o HVAC Certification or Diploma.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
o Extreme temperatures.
o Climbing, heavy lifting, loud noise, crawling, working in confined spaces, pushing/pulling, carrying equipment, bending, turning, kneeling.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
o Capability of lifting 75 pounds.
o Capability to carry items weighing 75 pounds.
o Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders and stairs.
o Ability to work in confined spaces and to maneuver in attics, basements, and crawl spaces to access HVAC units.
o Ability to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
o Natural or corrected vision to see and focus for close, distance, peripheral vision with normal depth perception.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
