Job Summary Summary The Clinical Informatics Specialist (CIS) will partner with Suvida Healthcare primary care providers and become a member of the Care Team.
The CIS will be responsible for the clinical documentation in the EMR, gathering information for the patient's visit, support provider documentation needs and partnering with the primary care provider to achieve Suvida Healthcare goals for the assigned patient panel.
The Clinical Informatics Specialist will devote 100% of his/her time, under direct supervision of their assigned provider, to aid the care team through the activities below:
Detailed research of patient's old charts and diagnosis.
Act as a liaison between Coding team and providers to ensure any documentation queries are addressed in a timely manner.
Strong knowledge in medical record documentation.
Research and update of patients' old imaging and screening studies.
Understand and follow patient age-specific screening requirements.
Analyze population health and coding strategies to optimize patient stratification.
Identify risk and assist to enroll patients in need for chronic care management protocols.
Research up to date evidence based medical protocols and Research up to date evidence-based medical protocols and provide revised data to care team.
Assist in medical recordkeeping system, documenting physician findings and interventions.
Assist on the medical onboarding of the newly hired clinicians, MA'sand patient liaisons (Guias) into proper EMR documentation Travel between Neighborhood Centers Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field, advanced degree preferred Experience Requirements 2 years clinical experience 2 years medical background Advanced computer, windows, typing skills Proven experience as a Medical Scribe (preferred) Ability to expertly document patient care and transcribe patient appointments Assure the accuracy of all documentation and records Advanced computer skills to transcribe and record information Great interpersonal skills, ability to work on unstructured environments Ability to organize, manage time, and problem-solving strategies Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Bilingual/ Multicultural (English and Spanish) required Job Type:
