The Imaging Services Supervisor is responsible for assisting with all aspects of invasive and noninvasive diagnostic Imaging Services.

Other departmental duties include restocking of exams rooms with needed supplies, supplies inventory, ensuring proper equipment function.
Assist with the supervision and daily operations of the Imaging Services department.
This position is a working supervisory position, requires shift rotation -Standby call rotation and Holiday shift coverage as scheduled and day to day management of employee schedule.
What you will need to have to apply for the position:
Minimum of two years experience in an acute care setting and minimum one year supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
Must be proficient and competent in the performance of X-ray and CT at a minimum.
ARRT - MRT - BCLS - Certified in at least one modality (CT-MRI-US-NM) Your
Responsibilities:
Supervise daily operations in Imaging Services, responsible for modality rotation, and staff assignments.
Assigns staff and workload requirements, interjecting self/support where needed, as well as flexibility, respecting changing priorities in daily operations and communicating this appropriately.
Functions as working supervisor performing in needed modalities as support for staff (Diagnostic Radiology, Surgical services, CT and MRI).
Prepares employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing (holidays, call) etc.
Mindfully aware of scheduled and non scheduled overtime shifts keeping department directors apprised of all schedule changes that may impact staffing matrix negatively.

Responsible for operating equipment pertinent to that modality.
Produces diagnostic images measurable through feed-back from Radiologist and or Cardiologist.
Notifies department director immediately of concerns.
Assures new employees are properly orientated to the environment.
Radiation/MRI Safety-Maintains radiation doses ALARA (as low as reasonably achievable) Patient/Self-Safety-shields all patients and self as appropriate to minimize radiation exposure.
Follows all MRI Safety protocols.
Screens all patients and visitors prior to entering Magnet suite.
Communicates appropriately with ordering physicians to interpret written and verbal orders to perform the appropriate exam.
Performs duties assigned by Department Director.
Creates and maintains positive relationships with department staff, facility and physicians offices and all other departments within the Hospital.
