We have a very cohesive team that is laid back but very serious about providing first rate services for our dogs and our customers.
We are currently seeking a part time kennel tech for 20-30 hours/week, with opportunities for growth into a full time position.
Prior kennel experience is preferred but not required! JOB
Responsibilities:
- Primary job will be to monitor dogs and ensure dogs are safe and healthy during during play time.
The kennel is open play, meaning the dogs spend much of the day playing with other dogs.
- Clean the grounds and facilities.
- Feed dogs and provide medications as needed - Perform grooming services such as baths.
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES:
- Previous experience working with dogs preferred but not required - Be an energetic person with a great work ethic.
This means you are never sitting or standing around, always looking to help out, high energy and constantly moving around.
This is NOT a job where you just sit around and play with dogs.
- Will show up on time for all shifts (they start early!!) - Have a love for dogs - Have the ability to be on your feet for 5
hours at a time.
