Americas Sales Director, Startups

As AWS continues to rapidly grow, we seek a leader of leaders to own and scale out the startup customer segment in the Americas.
The startup segment in the Americas is experiencing non-linear, double digit YoY growth.
As the Americas Sales Director, Startups:
you will continue to accelerate this direction, building strategy through execution and inspirational leadership.
You will manage an organization experiencing double digit headcount growth, comprised of geographically focused Startup Sales Managers and their reports.
You will be adept at delivering growth in early stage companies who are making their initial IT decisions.
You will establish and maintain high-level relationships within key customers, driving innovation and capabilities for startups across infrastructure and business application landscapes.
You will build and develop teams of sales managers who will execute on your strategy across the Americas.
You will develop leaders in the Amazon mold who will continue to raise the bar.
In this role, you will lead teams who influence customers to leverage AWS to power their business and technology outcomes.

This role will require you to understand the unique needs of early stage entrepreneurs, startup founders and developers.
You will be responsible for developing opportunity pipelines, evangelizing cloud computing, and driving revenue and user adoption for this important group of customers.
You will partner with the Startup BD team to build the AWS go-to-market strategy for this critical customer segment.
Location of hire is flexible to major office hub locations across the US.

Responsibilities:
Scale out an integrated go-to-market team in a highly innovative and competitive environmentDevelop and execute against a set of goals including revenue attainment, product usage, customer references, support, and trainingDevelop and lead a set of managers and leaders in the Americas Startup team.
Build and leverage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to further adoption of AWS services in the startup customer segmentSupport all AWS operating cadences and represent a consolidated view of the Startup market to senior AWS leadersLead a Customer Obsessed business that delights our customersContribute as a key member of the global startup leadership teamContribute as a key member of the Americas leadership team.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
