Bioscapes has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
As a Design Assistant, you will work closely with the Landscape Designer in the production of graphic presentations and proposal documents that will be formally delivered to Bioscape's valued clients.
Assist with the design and development of residential landscape installations.
Perform site visits including assessing client needs, taking property measurements, and evaluating existing site conditions.
Review documentation of current and potential properties.
Prepare project scope documents.
Collaborate with Designer to create landscape design solutions.
Assist in the development and review of landscape design graphics.
Successfully perform design assignments on various projects as assigned.
Maintain organization of design project files.
Manage customer service for design clients.
Coordinate effective communication between landscape clients, lead designer, and landscape architect.
Assist with researching and preparing cost estimates for landscape design and landscape installation.
Maintain effective communication, both verbal and written, with other landscape team members.
Use effective time management methods and habits to meet schedule requirements.
Use organizational skills to complete assignments efficiently and thoroughly.
Effectively use computer-aided design and production software to maximize the efficiency of production.
Contribute to a positive environment and a team approach for all assignments.
Consistently use the standards and procedures set in place.
Maintain records, collections, and files related to specific projects.
Assist in the development of graphics, presentation materials, and reports.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills Minimum Experience/ Skill Requirements:
Proficiency in Photoshop; proficiency in AutoCAD a plus Current college students are welcome to apply; professional internships and work experience are desired (Pursuing a Landscape Architecture or Urban Planning degree from an ABET-accredited college or University.
) Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Ability to apply technical skills to meet project needs.
Willingness to learn and contribute to the current projects.
