Network Development Manager L6, OTIE LAN Ops & Reliability

Amazon OpsTech Engineering is looking for a Network Development Manager to lead production network engineering for Amazon fulfillment centers and robotics.
You will be responsible for large networking projects that drive our business forward; network architecture and roadmaps; working with network operations to ensure service availability and best practices; manage team on-call for network escalations; and team career development, performance management, and hiring.
This role is on-site and can be located in any one of our major technology hubs:
Seattle, Austin, Nashville, and San Francisco.
Key job responsibilitiesOperational Excellence As a manager within the networking team you will be expected to drive operational excellence in everything we do.
This includes creating processes, procedures and innovative tools to improve efficiency in our day-to-day tasks and projects.
You will work closely on supporting our internal customers and ensuring that their needs and issues are being addressed.
Engineering Excellence.
We need to constantly strive for the best network designs that allow us to operate at scale.
We're constantly removing complexity from the network and automating one task at a time.
Engineering excellence includes new projects, but also migration projects from one technology to another.
You need deep knowledge with at-scale network and infrastructure tooling such as single-source of truth, change management, network configuration management, networking templates, topology builders, real-time monitoring, and much more.
Performance Management/Team Health You will own all facets of performance and career management for the team.
Regular one-on-one meetings with all team members are required.
You will be expected to provide both technical and 'soft skill' mentoring in order to maintain a well-rounded, world-class organization.
This includes project management, quality audits and coordination of training sessions with senior-level engineers as well as day-to-day oversight of the team.
Recruiting and Hiring You will take the lead in hiring quality personnel who not only fit the needs of the current organization but also will allow the team to scale with growth.
You will coordinate with Amazon and external recruiting staff to evaluate potential candidates, participate in initial phone screens and provide relevant guidance and feedback during on-site interview loops.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that proper training takes place for all new hires.

Austin, TX, USA.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
