Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team.
In this role, you will work on supporting various tasks related to receiving, storing, organizing, and picking/packing & shipping garage gym equipment.
The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering products accurately and efficiently to our customers.
We are only looking for people that are willing to commit to a team and for people that want to serve our customers.
We have outbound shipments, and in-person customer pick-ups.
Therefore, a positive attitude with a willingness to roll up your sleeve's mentality is a MUST.
Key
Responsibilities:
1.
Order Fulfillment:
Assist in picking and packing orders accurately, ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected.
Aid in preparing orders for shipment, including proper packaging and labeling.
Support the team in coordinating with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
Some of the items can range from 1 - 150 pounds.
Most of the items are 10 - 50 pounds.
2.
Receiving and Inspection:
Assist in receiving incoming shipments of garage gym equipment, verifying accuracy and quality and quantity.
Support in inspecting items for damage or defects and documenting any discrepancies or issues.
Assist in organizing and labeling received goods for efficient storage and retrieval.
3.
Inventory Management:
Collaborate with the team in maintaining accurate inventory records using inventory management systems.
Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies.
Support the team in ensuring proper storage and organization of products to maximize space utilization.
4.
Quality Control:
Assist in performing quality checks on products before shipment, ensuring they meet our standards.
Identify and report any product quality or packaging issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to address any concerns promptly.
5.
Warehouse Maintenance:
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, adhering to safety standards.
Assist with general warehouse tasks, such as restocking shelves and tidying work areas.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
6.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with other warehouse associates and departments to ensure seamless operations.
Communicate effectively with team members to facilitate the flow of information.
Participate in team meetings and provide support in suggesting process improvements.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
Forklift experience is a plus, but we are willing to teach the right candidate.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform repetitive tasks.
Basic computer skills and willingness to learn inventory management systems.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
