What we doThe Security Issue Management team builds solutions that keep Amazon systems and data secure on behalf of the Amazon customer.
Our customers range from security engineers who need a comprehensive understanding of Amazon systems and their security state, to service teams who need solutions that make it easy to build and operate secure systems.
We use the latest technology, including AWS, to solve security problems at Amazon scale.
We employ automation and machine learning to reduce, or eliminate, manual effort to help our internal customers raise the security bar.

What you will doAs a Principal UX Designer on our team, you will solve complex design problems, helping empower internal service teams, security engineers, and managers to continuously raise the bar on security posture.
Throughout the strategy, design, and development lifecycle, you will work collaboratively with customers, engineers, product managers and senior stakeholders.
This position requires deep customer focus and the ability to build relationships and feedback loops to continuously improve products based on evolving customer needs and security goals.
You will have ownership over your design solutions from conception through implementation, working closely with engineering teams to ensure the high standards of your designs are maintained.

Responsibilities:
- Foster a customer-obsessed design culture by sharing best practices, evangelizing design principles, and influencing product strategy.
- Define, develop and socialize a clear vision for design innovation and big thinking while not sacrificing speed of delivery.
- Provide leadership and design direction, influencing across teams and giving thoughtful, detailed and actionable design feedback.
- Promote collaboration and facilitate communication with stakeholders at all levels and across diverse disciplines and geographies.
- Work cross-functionally to drive elegant design solutions from early concept through final implementation and iteration.
- Craft, pitch, and validate long term design strategies.
- Use data and customer insights to confidently share design solutions with senior leaders.
- Use systems-level design thinking to drive design solutions from your team that scale.
- Present design work to executive leadership and other senior stakeholders.
A day in the lifeYou will own and contribute to studies that evaluate the customer experience of executing use cases on security issue management services, as well as technology/industry trends and the voice of the customer.
You will join an expanding team, leverage your technical and domain skills, and apply a variety of methodologies to drive these studies.
You will collaborate with product teams and senior leaders to provide insights and drive improvements that help us achieve our vision to be Earth's Most Customer-Centric Company.
About the teamWe are a team of builders that develop products, services, ideas, and various ways of leveraging data to influence product and service offerings to raise the bar in security.
Security issue management system is SDO's centralized tool with the goal of becoming the only place SDO builders need to go to understand and manage their security issues and to drive action on the highest security risk areas of the business as well as for security teams to drive campaigns efficiently and effectively while simultaneously reducing the effort teams spend on security related tasks.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Austin, TX, USA Seattle, WA, USA.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
