This position will support the administration and implementation of the department's Records and Information Management Program.
They will assist with a variety of matters related to records and information management, including reviewing and inventorying physical and electronic records; storing, indexing, and classifying records; and preparing records for storage or destruction.
They will assist with developing and conducting records management training for department staff.
The ideal candidate will find satisfaction in the organization and management of data and records systems.

gov) Position Description Performs entry-level records management work as a member of the Information Management Team.
Employees at this level perform assignments following specific instructions and are subject to frequent review by the immediate supervisor.
Essential Duties:
Reviews physical and electronic records.
Assists with storing, indexing, and classifying records.
Prepares records for storage or destruction.
Assists in researching and responding to requests for documentation and records.
Assists in maintaining the division records file plan.
Conducts records management training for division staff, communicating records and information management rules, policies, and procedures.
Performs other job related responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Education:
Must be a student in high school or other educational institution or accepted into a college, university or educational institution.
Other Conditions:
Must be at least 16 years of age, a student currently enrolled in high school or any institution of higher education to include a trade/vocational school.
Employees at least 18 years of age with valid driver's license may be assigned driving duties and may use power tools.
Competencies:
Familiarity with professional records and information management theory, best practices, principles, standards, technologies, and requirements.
Communicate effectively.
