As a Technical Writer in Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will have the exciting opportunity to work with a stellar technical team to create and drive quality standards.
You will be a key member of our AWS Partner Organization and Marketplace, that automate and document fully functional enterprise deployment methods on AWS for our customers.
The technical documentation plays a vital role in clearly describing each reference so customers can get started with confidence.
10010Key job responsibilitiesAs the right candidate, you will have experience editing and creating in-depth content for developer products and the ability to drive consistency and unity across individual documentation sets in a product suite.
You will partner with the development team on feature design and UX design to drive the development of product documentation.
Independently follow designs and standards to develop and deliver documentation for AWS products.
Write and edit API documentation, user guides, and other documents as directed.
Conduct technical reviews and peer edits for grammar, style, and form.
You'll also work with a professional technical editor.
You'll engage with the engineering teams and support technicians to improve the documentation based on customer feedback and experiences.
You will have a strong understanding of customer needs and experience acting as a customer advocate.
Working with other editors and writers on the team, you will use the editorial process to ensure a high-quality documentation experience.
A day in the lifeThe Technical Writer will collaborate with service team members and other technical writers to develop and deliver content for instructional guides, resolve customer tickets, participate in hiring/mentoring activities, and provide guidance to the service team for documentation related efforts.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Austin, TX, USA.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
