Selectek is looking for a Design Engineer with a background in Fiber Optic networks.
This is a 6-month contract to direct opportunity located in either Austin, TX or San Antonio, TX.
Required:
Designing new products for the Smart Grids Deployments and FTTH Fiber to the homeResearch and draft designs while developing prototypesDevelop ISP Patch panel diagrams/cable rack layoutsExperience with 3D CAD software (Inventor, SolidWorks, SolidEdge, ProE, Etc.
)Estimating and costing on projectsPreferred:
3- 5 years of experience in Fiber OpticsBS in Engineering or relevant field2 years of GIS ExperienceExcellent written and verbal communicationsMS Office experienceThe pay range is $22-28/hour ($46,000-$58,500 annually) depending on experience.
