Duties will include

  • Helping to define and develop cutting-edge network visibility solutions
  • Learning about new developments in networking and security and applying that knowledge to feature development for Network Packet Brokers
  • Full stack development - Developing high quality software independently and in teams
  • Evaluate and integrate third party software.
  • Develop JUnit tests and perform feature/integration testing.
  • Leading and participating in design and code reviews
Job Qualifications

Ideal candidate will typically have a BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, with 2-4 years relevant industry experience.

Job Function

Requirements:

  • Strong Java programming and object oriented design skills required
  • Expertise, knowledge and interest in Ethernet and networking technologies
  • Interest in Web application technologies such as REST, javascript, HTML5, JSON, etc
  • Understanding of embedded systems development is a plus
  • Strong software debug skills
  • Tools:
    Eclipse/Webstorm, Code Collaborator, Jira, GIT/Bitbucket, debuggers, profilers, Wireshark
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
