The Software Engineering function in Ultra supports the software development lifecycle consisting of requirements analysis, design, implementation, test and verification in order to deliver software components into projects and products and supports the deployment and maintenance of software components. The role holder will perform the full range of clearly defined procedures, and will typically be considered skilled through on-the-job experience. Resolves routine issues without supervisory approval. Has developed skills through formal training and/or work experience. Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications. Responsible for the design, modification, and implementation of software programs to meet the requirements and constraints of the customer scope of work Participates in the software quality process Receives direction from an immediate supervisor and works within a project team to accomplish all deliverables for a program Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Electrical Engineering) with a concentration in software development from an accredited institution 1
years of experience coding in C and C+
in either a work or school environment Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. Security clearances are granted to U.S. citizens. Desired Skills:
Active Security Clearance Understanding of computer science fundamentals, concepts and practices Familiarity with Linux Operating System Familiarity with Agile development process Familiarity with Version Control
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
