Customer Account Manager at Samsung Austin Semiconductor will manage foundry customer's programs in 14nm FinFET technology and also manage a team of Engineers within Customer Engineering Organization. The individual will collaborate with external foundry customer(s), Fab, sales/marketing, Korea HQ teams seamlessly from new product introduction to mass production. The Account Manager will be responsible for the business growth by providing SAS foundry engineering services excellency. He/she will act as a primary technical account interface with the customer and all other functional teams within Samsung Foundry, and are able to drive engineering, manufacturing teams and foundry customer to achieve production milestones in order to accomplish company business, engineering, and production goals. Role and Responsibilities Resides in Samsung Austin Semiconductor Austin office to manage Customer Engineering team and also act as account interface with Foundry Customers & other functional teams in Samsung Manage all customer meetings (Conf call, F2F, QTR/QBR, etc) and internal meetings Responsible for facilitating and strengthening effective communication between the customer and Samsung Foundry in order to achieve business goals from NPI (new product introduction) to Mass Production. Acts as a lead in major negotiations with customers on engineering and SAS engineering and manufacturing operational issues in order to manage business impacts Partners with engineering and business groups to ensure new product introduction activities are meeting customer schedule and technical requirements Monitors factory performance KPI on key customer indicators and initiates corrective action programs as needed with factor counterparts. Workdays and Shift :
1st shift Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Physical Sciences or equivalent required, M.S./Ph.D. Electrical Engineering or Physical Sciences preferred Requires 10
years of related experience in semiconductor process, product or device engineering with Bachelor's degree; or 7
years with Master's or 5
years with Ph.D. Prior Customer Engineering experience preferred. Working knowledge of 45nm and below technology basic process integration, device physics, reliability, product eng, testing Basic knowledge of all unit processes including thin films deposition, lithography, etch, diffusion, wet process, Cu plating, and CMP. Understanding of the interactions between process and yield, product performance and reliability. Experience with new product introduction, device/environmental qualification, high volume production ramp, yield improvement. Has a wide range of experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways Strong troubleshooting and negotiating skills are needed to resolve engineering/manufacturing operational issues with customers
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
