What We Need:
Our Austin, TX studio is seeking a Director of Art with deep and broad experience in building and managing an art department for the legendary NBA 2K franchise. What You Will Do:
Build a world-class art department Manage and support personnel career paths Mentor artists at all levels and help drive the creative vision Collaborate closely with the Director of Design to help ensure unified goals and vision between the two departments Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:
At least 5 years of experience as an Art Director for AAA games Deep understanding of all facets of game and art development Experience in the trenches of creating AAA art assets Experience and a passion for building teams and guiding personnel along career paths Self-aware, life learner, always keeping up with the latest technology, workflow tips and tools A love for team culture and activities Along with your application, please submit a portfolio or demo reel of professional or personal work samples, demonstrating successful understanding and application of industry standard practices.
Salary Range:
$100K
Minimum Qualification
Design & UXEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
