The Anaplan Implementation Specialist will be an individual contributor building and maintaining Anaplan models, ETLs and processes around it. The candidate will work closely with other model builders, FP&A team and business partners to document requirements, architect solutions, build and test models. The candidate will also have a good understanding of the end-to-end Financial Planning & Budgeting Process, including forecasting, sales compensation, cash flow management, taxation, headcount planning, spend management and leverage this knowledge to design and deliver the necessary solutions. Senior Financial Analyst, Business Intelligence and Analytics will be responsible for Anaplan development at Nextiva. This person will promote the advancement of financial reporting and integrity across the entire business. Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Finance, Financial Systems, People, Sales & Marketing teams to design, architect, and build a connected planning environment Partner with cross functional teams to understand existing excel models and translate them into efficiently built Anaplan models Support rest of the FP&A team with ad-hoc analysis as necessary Lead design sessions in prototyping new modeling solutions for enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow Standardize and automate existing FP&A reports, metrics, and dashboards in addition to designing new financial/business reporting packages for senior management Work closely with the Finance, Financial Systems team and external consultants to determine project requirements, drive buildout of modules and execute enhancements Manage and improve end-user UX, including tables, charts, and other visualizations to support decision making across the business Create and maintain integrations with Anaplan across various other platforms used by the Company Translate ad hoc spreadsheets, and business problems into sophisticated Anaplan multi-dimensional models Play a key role in designing the long-term Anaplan roadmap, including best practices for supporting a distributed model across various departments Maintain and document current and new system process flows Leverage business process knowledge and expertise in Anaplan area to drive business process improvements Own ongoing maintenance, recommend improvements, and implement solutions that can drive efficiencies across the Company Maintain and document current and new system process flows Configure and maintain Anaplan lists, modules, dashboards, actions and other model settings Manage Data Integrations & Data HUB - Partner with extended Business Enablement/IT teams (i.e. Datawarehouse)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Finance required 5
years of experience with Anaplan, preferably experience as a third-party implementation partner with significant client interaction and experience FP&A and Operations experience is highly preferred Anaplan Model Builder Certification preferred Level 3 Master Anaplaner certification and in good standing preferred Experience with system design, testing, implementation, and end user support/training Interest in eventually leading a team or a center of excellence Strong analytical skills, and a deep interest in problem solving and using technology to improve business processes Expert modeling capabilities with the ability to troubleshoot complex planning models and design a modeling solution without explicit direction Understanding of finance and accounting principles and how they apply to planning and/or consolidation solutions Knowledge of and experience with PowerBI and Tableau a plus A strong understanding of integration best practices Excellent relationship skills; can effectively and independently work with business leaders, stakeholders across the organization A desire for working in a fast-paced environment
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Corporate FinanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
