This senior-level position will be driving customer success by leading specific sophisticated projects and programs. Drive the overall systems integration, roadmap alignment, identification and tracking of dependencies between multiple systems that make up a complex solution. Negotiate and coordinate the priorities of the customer with the development and deployment timelines of multiple inter-connected devices and systems. Completing a project by delivering a solution to the customer that meets or exceeds their expectation is a key criterion for success in this role. Ensure the delivery of a successful proposition (bid or organic growth) per cost, associated agreed timelines and appropriate management of the resources assigned to deliver the solution till handed over to lifecycle/steady state. More specifically this includes:
Directly communicating with senior partners and leading communications with internal or external clients. Align product roadmaps and project deployment timelines across multiple complex systems. Identify key integration points, dependencies, and feature alignment to ensure that all aspects of the overall system contain the features vital to meet the customer's expectations. Identify gaps in functionality and coordinates technical discussions to fill those gaps. Direct and coordinate work activities of cross-functional project team. Conduct needs assessments and requirements capturing for end-to-end solutions. Define and develop program scope, objectives, detailed plans, budgets and metrics for large and/or portions of complex projects. Develops forecasts and proposes responses to variances and trends with the project. Monitor project execution to ensure all obligations are met. May pursue contract variations, when appropriate. Ensure adherence to program plan and budgets for large projects. Recommend corrective actions and implements changes. Identify and minimize risks; develops and implements risk mitigation plans. Conducts project reviews through the life of the project. Procure internal and external resources and allocate project staff with required proficiencies to meet project objectives. Primary interface to external and internal teams. Provide input into proposal preparation, statements of work and specifications, and estimations of costs. Identifies and manages program enhancements and process improvements. Required Qualifications for Consideration:
Over five years working in Telecommunications industry with three to five years of Project Management experience Ability to travel 30% of the time (Mostly to Canada) You Will Excite Us If You Have:
Proven history of success in any of these roles - consulting or customer-facing, Professional Services System Integration or Professional Services Sales role. Project Management Certification. Effectively managed large teams in a combined project and matrix line management environment. Successful track record planning, managing and implementing high technology new development projects from concept to fruition working with multi-disciplinary teams. Strong Microsoft Office and Project Management tools, including project metric tracking. Experience with Agile development process. Demonstrated technical knowledge of software development (Java Enterprise Application and Open Source), Web services knowledge, HTTP, SOAP, REST API. API integration skills. Well versed with Linux. Technical understanding of networking concepts (routing, load balancing, etc.). Knowledge of Broadband Forum specifications (TR069, USP). Experience working with large scale device management is a plus. Ability to quickly learn and understand complex technical concepts. Ability to know when to drive, pull-up, back off, and push to achieve project goals and keep performers motivated for long periods of time. Ability to interact in both verbal and written form. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work successfully in a mixed environment with both customers and colleagues. Building a good relationship with the customer is key for this position. Candidate must have good software integration experience. Salary Range:
$80K -- $150K
