This position provides leadership, coordination, and management of a multi-million dollar Cox Automotive Delivery Stream. This role is accountable for the value stream operations, delivery processes, and multiple delivery teams that are responsible for Cox Automotive agile product delivery. These activities include but are not limited to, quarterly planning, coordination of epic backlog creation and road-mapping, removing impediments, mitigating risk, driving continuous improvement, managing dependencies, and reporting progress across the value stream. This role facilitates decisions with executive level teams across Product, Technology, Architecture and Business leadership, creating alignment across all levels of the agile delivery framework. The Agile Delivery Director provides guidance, coaching and training on agile practices to scrum masters, as well as engineering and product leads. Manage and optimize the flow of delivery through the value stream and into the respective release trains Establish a cadence and lead quarterly and epic planning sessions Facilitate value stream prioritization of epics and tradeoff decisions Publish epic plans for visibility and transparency Assist with execution and epic completion tracking Manage value stream progress and provide ongoing visibility to portfolio Facilitate periodic retrospective meetings Assist with priority recommendations by facilitating epic value and tradeoff discussions Resolve/escalate impediments; help manage risks and dependencies across value streams and release trains Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution within the value stream team and stakeholders Encourage team collaboration and influence teams to take positive action and accountability for assigned work Collaborate with other value stream stakeholders to ensure strategy and execution alignment Manage, coach, mentor, and motivate direct reports Drive continuous improvement Encourage and participate in continuous integration and communities of practice around scaled agile and Lean Engineering and Quality Practices Provide input to development and refinement of the scaled agile framework
Qualifications:
BS/BA required, Post-graduate degree preferred 10
years of related professional experience leading complex team efforts 10
years of experience leading SAFe agile teams, or equivalent program and project management experience on large complex technical projects/programs Demonstrated success in managing and leading teams Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong leadership, facilitation, influencing, negotiation, mentoring and personnel management skills Experience with business support software applications such as MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Visio, and Access) required
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Systems Architecture & EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
