We are currently seeking a Cloud Security Engineer. This role is responsible for implementing security best practices for network, infrastructure and application in IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud deployments. It will help establish and drive the decision-making for infrastructure, network, platform, and application security architecture design and implement solutions to difficult engineering and security problems. It will mature enterprise security solutions to meet business goals and support global IT counterparts. It identifies assets and assess risks, threats, and vulnerabilities in accordance with accepted business and regulations to ensure security design integrity, availability, confidentiality compliance. What you will be doing as a Cloud Security Engineer:
Analyze, design, and develop security solutions with the Cybersecurity Architect with automation in mind to ensure they are consistent with corporate technology goals and risk tolerance levels. Validate current- and future-state architectural models to assess impact across assigned Cybersecurity technology systems. Provide subject matter expertise for supported security technologies and during escalations. Oversee security requirements and technical specifications to guide project implementation toward successful solution delivery. Design, engineer and deploy solutions to align with the Cybersecurity strategy. Investigates and reports any security violations and incidents and ensures proper protection and corrective measures have been taken when an incident or vulnerability has been discovered Establishes and validates baseline security configurations in compliance with industry platform hardening standards Performs periodic reviews of IT procedures and security of all systems in order to maintain integrity of company and customer data Coordinate's remediation of any findings and recommendations from internal and external audits and risk assessments Researches and recommends hardware and software solutions to augment or enhance existing security measures as needed Stays abreast of current events and trends in IT security Works collaboratively with IT Engineering and all lines of business during major systems implementations and enhancements as required Takes independent actions within established options and develops new procedures and approaches to problems when necessary Performs duties and makes decisions under frequent time pressures What we are looking for:

years of related experience and/or technical training Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. SANS GSEC and/or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification preferred Organized, responsive and highly thorough problem solver Proficient security technologies including Mobile Device Management, Endpoint Protection, DLP, Privileged Access Solutions, SIEM, Email Security and other related technologies. Collaboration skills required for working on cross-functional project teams Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and accuracy in work and time management and organizational skills Ability to analyze assignments based on a wide knowledge of many factors where application of advanced or technical concepts are required Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; Highly proficient in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Strong background in M365/Azure Security required and CrowdStrike preferred EZCORP is an Equal Opportunity Employer

$150K -- $200K
