You will also be the go-to strategic subject matter expert on our customer engagement technology schema and roadmap for the executive team - each division head will lean on you for technical expertise and long-term solutions. You will know you're successful in this role when your name ends up popping up left and right in meetings, truly becoming embedded into how we work, and what tools we work with. As the Senior Manager of our Technical Operations department, you will be responsible for actively supporting and defining the strategy for our technology solutions that enable our business to differentiate in the market. This role lives in our Business Operations umbrella and partners with leaders across the company. You will use your deep technical expertise to deliver on deep technical solutions. However, this isn't an in the weeds role; it's very much on the strategy side. New technology is one component, but moreso important is the long-term strategy and optimization of our current stack. You will get to live in both spaces. Specifically, you will:
Assess, scope, and plan for the technical needs of critical business departments:
Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Support, etc. Define the future state technology architecture strategy and roadmap Partner with leadership stakeholders to define the future state of the technical business landscape that enables our company objectives Optimize the technical architecture of the business and effectively identify and prioritize needs to provide confidence in a best-in-class technology landscape Identify cloud software needs and assess the best option Lead the IT Project Management team and Salesforce leadership team Establish continuity plans, critical response procedures and communication, and processes for an evolving and differentiating technology plan What You Need to Get the Job Done 5
years of deep technical work functions in relevant cloud-based systems You have an understanding of the typical software foundation and needs of a SaaS business, including technical architecture knowledge (e.g. APIs, principles of coding, Agile) You have the ability to read certain dominant/common code (PHP, Java, APEX, etc.) Articulating challenges and solutions to both a technical and a non-technical audience is one of your best communication skills (i.e. distilling technical principles to a point of understanding that drives support with the executive team) You consider yourself a visionary and understand the potential impact of this role You have the ability to drive strategy through brainstorming and clearly defining the problems to be solved Prioritization is a strong-suit of yours, and you understand the downstream impacts of prioritization decisions You have strong stakeholder engagement skills and thrive when building healthy working partnerships, as well as the ability to provide confidence to senior executives You are comfortable when partnering with deep technical teams (i.e. Engineering) to help prioritize work in order to get things done What Will Make Us REALLY Love You It would be excellent if your experience has often lived in the SaaS space Various applicable certifications would be a standout, such as CompTIA Prior leadership experience is a definite bonus and preferred, although leadership skills are most important What You'll Love About Us Great Company Culture. Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Technology ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
