Key Responsibilities Ability to work with a production team on scheduling, planning, and sizing of specifications and software designs. Responsible for monitoring project timelines and key development milestones. Ensure that software design features and objectives are consistent with internal customer and regulatory requirements Responsible for monitoring project status and skill requirements; ensure appropriate resource levels and mix of competencies among staff. Project management and coordination of internal teams with external resources to deliver committed projects within budget, on time with exceptionally high quality Collect, analyze, and report on important metrics during the software development phase of a product. Lead and direct the work and manages the personnel issues of direct report employees including hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating staff, and recommending or initiating promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action of a high-performance software development team of skilled developers. Skills, Knowledge, & Expertise Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Software Development, or other technical / science field preferred. 8
years experience in object-oriented technologies Internal Tools Management is hugely preferred Looking for somebody that has been a software developer in the past to work with this highly technical team. Manage a team of leads and individual contributor developers. Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology. Ideally looking for some leadership knowledge as there is a lot of room for growth in this group.
