Alarm.com is looking for an experienced compensation expert to lead our compensation function including designing, developing, and executing compensation programs. This high impact position will be the primary owner of compensation programs that support the company's talent strategy and growth initiatives. Responsibilities Perform deep analysis on effectiveness and competitiveness of existing compensation programs and model potential impact of alternatives Develop creative compensation solutions that are designed around corporate objectives and informed by market trends Manage direct compensation programs (base, incentive, commissions, equity) Serve as the SME, trusted partner and adviser on all compensation related matters including equity and sales compensation and commission Consult with HR Business Partners on a regular basis, providing expert compensation guidance and recommendations Own the design, analysis, and implementation of equity compensation programs Oversee the participation in compensation surveys, monitor survey data and create benchmarking models to illustrate trends and ensure corporate compensation objectives are achieved Deliver expert compensation consulting, develop proposals and presentations about compensation programs (including market data and appropriate pay levels/targets) to influence and educate senior level decision-makers including the Compensation Committee/Board Conduct job evaluations using market data and internal evaluation and regularly analyze our market position on jobs Research and formulate recommendations on external and internal employment offers, job leveling, and internal equity adjustments Draft plans, educational materials, and communications designed to provide stakeholders with timely and accurate information regarding compensation initiatives Contribute to sales incentive plan design and performance measurement, ensuring that incentive plan designs and targets are consistent with corporate-level financial expectations and strategic objectives Build, automate, and enhance the Company's commission planning processes and be responsible for driving analysis to provide executive visibility into sales commission trends and effectiveness Lead the administration of incentive plans and providing ongoing maintenance to support associated requirements of the Sales, Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, and Business Intelligence teams. Manage job descriptions, including auditing jobs for content and preparing job descriptions reflecting job responsibilities and requirements, as needed. Ensure all positions are classified appropriately according to FLSA Formulate competitive variable sales incentive comp plans in partnership with Sales and Finance Audit and analyze internal compensation practices in relation to relevant regulations. Develop recommendations for corrective actions as needed. Provide compliance consultation to HR and your business clients Drive consistency in compensation planning, program administration, performance cycles and comp program automation projects Support team and internal clients through mid-year and year-end compensation cycles. Work on a variety ad hoc special compensation projects as needed Manage and mentor compensation team members for effective delivery and customer service Provide analytical support and thought partnership for strategic compensation projects, key initiatives or processes and provide exceptional customer support to clients across the organization Qualifications 7
years of relevant and progressive experience in the analysis, design, and administration of compensation programs including strong capability on equity and sales incentive At least 5 years of experience building compensation models and conducting pay analysis and benchmarking Deep understanding of sales compensation practices, SaaS-based compensation plan structures, procedures, and key metrics in a SaaS environment, specifically for indirect (B2B2C) models. Demonstrated ability to achieve program success and navigate globally distributed teams with influence rather than authority. Experience in change management and change leadership. Ability to navigate through ambiguity. Highly collaborative and consultative approach to business partnership Experience with complex and global organizations Experience managing and mentoring team members Background in sales operations, finance or HR and knowledge of human resources and compensation including knowledge of relevant Federal, State, Local laws/regulations relating to compensation Advanced excel skills (VBA, macros, array functions). Strong interpersonal skills Excellent written and oral communication skills for internal presentations that demonstrate business acumen Ability to work independently in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and rapidly changing environment, with all levels of employees in the organization. Extremely strong analytical and quantitative skills and a track record for planning, delivering, and auditing work Ability to independently solve ambiguous problems Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Human Resources, or other related field highly preferred Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in Accounting, Statistics, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Human Resources Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) Global Compensation Experience Experience in high tech, or high growth environments Experience with Workday COMPANY INFO Alarm.com is the leading cloud-based platform for smart security and the Internet of Things. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
HR Management, HR Compensation & BenefitsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
