Full-time 8 hours ago Full Job Description Modern Intelligence is seeking a Business Development (BD) lead to help us engage with government agencies to offer our solutions to national security customers in need of AI/ML solutions for sensor fusion and computer vision.
This is an opportunity to lead the charge for a burgeoning defense-focused company with an unconventional approach.
Modern Intelligence leverages proprietary advances in information and complexity theory to build holistic One Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions for defense.
Our hierarchical approach provides a dramatic scaling advantage over classical neural networks, enabling very high accuracy and in many cases, the ability to solve previously unsolvable problems.
We are easing the burden to assess activity in the maritime domain at scale and automating the ability to understand the operating environment.
We're looking for an experienced and proven BD professional who is customer-obsessed and believes in supporting our defense partners in increasing capabilities to deter our nation's adversaries.
You'll leverage your knowledge of government procurement and acquisition cycles to identify requirements, cultivate opportunities, and drive awareness in the defense technology sector.
You'll join us in improving our capability and iterate on solutions to over-deliver on customer needs and impact the greater product roadmap.
You'll help turn ideas into practical reality, and you'll get your hands dirty at the intersection of theoretically-motivated experiments and real-world problems.
As an early hire, you will have the opportunity and active encouragement to grow into leadership and supervisory roles as the company expands.

years in a federal technical sales, acquisition, procurement or consulting role Prior experience with the U.
S.
Government as a civil servant (GS-13/14), former service member or consultant US Citizenship and eligibility for a Secret security clearance is required; an active Top Secret clearance is strongly preferred Your Impact Identify, cultivate, and execute on new opportunities through program offices, channel partners, and solicitations Own the development process to include outreach, engagement management, solutions iteration, providing transparent customer feedback, and deployment Serve as the conduit between sales and product teams and informing the overall GTM strategy Relationship mapping, stakeholder engagement, and lead for complex contract discussions with customer procurement and acquisition representatives Employ innovative problem-solving skills and ability to distill and interpret ambiguous customer needs into specific requirements.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
