7 Quick Apply Full-time 5 hours ago Full Job Description The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of activities that support the Marketing Team at Magpul, to include digital and traditional marketing efforts, ecommerce, communications, sponsorships, events, key accounts, and merchandising.
The Marketing Coordinator will be an integral part of the team, collaborating with key players to ensure that projects get the resources and attention they need to create marketing materials, communications, and events that are ready on time and in scope.
They will learn about--and become a key part of--all Marketing functions, gaining deep insight and knowledge about each.
All work will include participating in projects and creation of materials that reflect Magpul's roots in firearms, outdoors products, and shooting and action sports, so being familiar with and supportive of those roots is a must.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Marketing team and act as a coordinator for the ideation, capture, and roll out of marketing products, to include content, communication, and events.
Support the digital, print, photo, and video representation of Magpul products and lifestyle as needed through concept, theme, and marketing content creation.
Support and track influential Magpul partners, media, and non-profits with product and merchandising needs.
Place media and marketing orders and follow up to ensure the products are being used as planned, getting feedback to the company where applicable.
Maintain the master communications database of media and industry stakeholders and act as one of the key communicators with these important partners.
Provide direct support to Magpul's key account initiatives to meet basic and advanced customer needs.
Support the Magpul effort to maximize the success of its sponsorships, events, and influencer marketing initiatives.
Be the face and voice of Magpul when required.
Travel to 2-3 trade shows per year, plus 1-2 visits to offices in Colorado and Wyoming.
Travel up to 20% domestically for capture and content trips.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or relative experience in the marketing space.
One to three years of relevant work or intern experience in a marketing role.
Proven experience in project coordination and management.
Project management certification is a plus but not required.
Formal experience in marketing and sales support is preferred, but not required.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Outstanding initiative and attention to detail.
Knowledge of the firearms and firearms accessories and/or outdoor industries desired, work experience within the industry not required.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel, etc.

This position reports to the Marketing Director and is located in the Austin, TX office.
Competitive pay rate commensurate to experience.
