Liquibase is looking for a talented, goal-driven professional to join our team as a Business Development Representative.
The BDR will be responsible for researching prospective customers, creating and utilizing outreach strategies, and identifying potential sales opportunities.
You'll work in an environment where sales career growth is encouraged, supported, and proven.
This role is based out of our office in Central Austin, TX.
What you'll be doing:
Solving interesting problems, and working cross-functionally to build value for Liquibase and customers Collaborating with your sales team to drive pipeline and growth Conducting and leading calls with prospective customers to identify new opportunities Developing and communicating with qualified leads Building new customer pipeline and progressing those deals through early stages Researching targeted accounts, determining key contacts and opportunities Articulating the value proposition, platform, and services to prospective clients effectively Conducting high-volume prospecting to qualify leads through calls, emails, and social media Asking the right questions to properly qualify decision makers for future meetings Executing multitouch lead follow-up via email, phone, and LinkedIn Partnering with Marketing to develop demand generation strategies Maintaining CRM (HubSpot) to ensure continuity in context for better customer service Aligning with Regional Sales Managers to develop and execute territory strategies Must Haves:
Minimum 1 year in business development or inside sales experience Ability to take the initiative and solve problems; As a startup, you will see unique circumstances where there is no playbook, and the ability to think outside the box and adapt quickly will be key Proven ability to create demand Proven ability to develop opportunities from green field prospects Successful track record of sustained achievement of targets Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively Coachable - you are willing to accept constructive feedback Team Oriented - you are eager to lend a hand and celebrate the success of your teammates Driven - you are eager to do the hard work of calling prospects.
