In this role, you will be supporting a prominent printing company with two locations in South Austin, near Burleson Road.
The primary responsibility will be providing onsite support at the main location, with occasional travel to the secondary location nearby (1.
6 miles apart).
The ideal candidate will have experience working with Mac computers, Office 365, and be proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Experience with Kandji MDM or other Apple management tools preferred but not required.
Key
Responsibilities:
Provide onsite IT support for a printing company with two locations in SouthAustin, off Burleson Road.
Troubleshoot Hardware:
Resolve printer, network connectivity, personal and office phone, electrical power, hub and wire (USB, ethernet, video) issues, and other related hardware problems.
Troubleshoot Software:
Address production software issues (pace, VeraCore, Bartender, Apogee, Asanti), MS Office application issues, and other similar software problems.
Setup and Reinstall OpenVPN and MS Office 365 2FA.
Provide Office 365 Admin Support:
Manage user groups, email distribution lists, and unexpected out of office message setups.
Generate usage reports when requested.
Offer direct user assistance for password lockouts, forgotten passwords, and general How do I questions.
Share best email practices and new office features consistently.
Monitor general security and address poor behavior with company resources.
Address Kandji warnings by performing OS and software updates on Macs.
Support the network administrator as onsite hands and eyes.
Support the pace administrator as onsite hands and eyes.
Provide remote assistance through TeamViewer and in-person support as needed at both locations.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a help desk or IT support role, preferably working with Mac computers, Office 365, and Kandji MDM.
Experience working for an MSP or in a similar service-driven environment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for hardware and software issues.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Willingness to travel between the two locations in South Austin, off Burleson Road, as needed.
