Coatings Field Analyst II FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:
Contractor will support BASF coatings products at a specific OEM site.
PURPOSE:
The Contractor supports BASF sales/technical team by tracking and analyzing various product data.
Duties include data entry, logging, charting, and analyzing product and process characteristics and problem resolution.
Daily use of Excel and other PC applications.
Will also handle inventory ordering/management.
STRATEGIC IMPORTANCE:
By capturing various coatings product analysis Contractor can easily monitor key performance indicators to ensure BASF is meeting or exceeding customer performance expectations.

MINIMUM
Qualifications:
High school diploma required.
Experience working in a manufacturing, lab, or automotive environment (at least 1-2 years).
Team members must have good interpersonal skills, solid proficiency with basic IT tools (e.
g.
, MS Office).
Team members must be available to work rotating shifts, weekends (when necessary) and must be physically capable of working on feet for extensive periods of time.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESIRED:
Paint application knowledge, paint defect recognition, basic analysis skills.
Understanding of quality systems and concepts a plus.
SAP expertise a plus.
Listed salary ranges may vary based on experience, qualifications, and local market.
