Summary:
This role is responsible for assisting the department with carrying out tasks by reviewing the completeness of hiring packets and sorting, uploading indexing, and filing credentials of potential employees.
Job Description:
Description of Duties and Tasks Thoroughly examine hiring packets to ensure all required documents are present Cross-reference candidate information with external databases and references Verify the authenticity of transcripts and certifications provided by faculty candidates and upload, index, and file them into the college's document management system.
Document findings and effectively communicate with appropriate HR stakeholders regarding any concerns or issues found during the auditing process Adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines when handling sensitive candidate information Stay updated on industry standards and best practices related to hiring procedures Knowledge Good Customer Service General clerical skills Skills Maintaining an established work schedule.
Effectively using interpersonal and communications skills, including tact and diplomacy.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality Exceptional attention to detail.
Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of database systems and document management software.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
Technology Skills Demonstrated proficiency using standard office software applications and student information and database systems.
Physical Requirements Work is performed in a standard office environment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
