Pay:
Earn up to $208 per day with weekly paychecks $140 for degreed substitute teachers, $187 for long-term assignments, and an additional $20 on Mondays & Fridays.
$120 for non-degreed substitute teachers, while still earning the same $187 long-term rate with the additional $20 bonus on Mondays & Fridays A quick hiring process - receive an offer within 1 week of applying or less Teach close to home - choose from IDEA schools across the Austin area Get your foot in the door for full-time positions at IDEA, one of the top-rated charter districts in the country A W-2 meaning no fussing with taxes at year end Join a supportive community who cares about your success - access Kokua's support team from 6 am - 8 pm every day You'll need:
Minimum of 48 college credit hours or 1
year(s) working with children Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution strongly preferred.
Classroom Experience may compensate for education requirements Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Works collaboratively and is open to observation and critical feedback.
