Product Marketing Manager Austin, TX $200,000 ShortList have partnered with a fast-growing storage management and security solution provider that is closely partnered with Dell/EMC, the largest storage solution provider in the world.
The ideal Product Marketing Manager for our client will be a strategic, hands-on product marketing professional with a track record of success in developing positioning, messaging, content, and tools to drive sales and marketing success.
You'll be the expert on the buyers and competition in the markets we serve supporting go-to-market efforts for storage management and security solutions.
Key Responsibilities In this role, you'll inspire through:
oExpertly crafted messaging, value propositions, and positioning:
Develop both horizontal oand industry-specific value propositions and positioning which balances technical details with business benefits.
oGo-to-market plans:
Work with product, sales, marketing, and our strategic partners to build and execute GTM plans and sales tools.
Identify top geographies, industries, and use cases where we can effectively win and grow.
oCompetitive positioning:
Understand the competitive landscape and provide ongoing messaging, content, and enablement tools to help our sales team and strategic partners win.
oHigh-impact content and tools:
Develop and maintain buyer-oriented content (e.
g.
, website content, datasheets, videos, articles, blog posts, etc.
) and ensure alignment with key stakeholder groups including sales, demand/lead generation, product management, professional services, our strategic partners, and the executive team.
oSales knowledge transfer:
Create & deliver materials for reference by sales teams, including sales training, presentation materials, FAQs, demo scripts, and battle cards that help drive demand, solution adoption and create sales excitement & revenue success.
oCross-sell opportunity:
Work with sales and partners to define and execute a strategy to cross-sell our storage management and storage security solutions within our customer base.
oHigh-energy evangelism:
Be a spokesperson for our storage management and security solutions and help build our brand locally through customer presentations, thought leadership webinars, and media interviews.
Qualifications And Skills o3-5 years of work experience in B2B product marketing, product management, or related role.
oIndustry experience in storage/data management, NAS, Scale-out NAS, Hyper-scalar storage, and/or cyber security, is a big plus.
oExceptional storyteller and writing skills with the ability to create content that engages users and decision makers (writing samples are required).
oExcellent time management skills.
oAbility to drive the end-to-end execution of multiple projects simultaneously with minimal direction.
oAbility to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
oBachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field or equivalent experience.
oProduct marketing/management certification is a plus (e.
g.
