Summary:
The IT Business Partner is a key member of Vista IT and responsible for the strategic relationship with Vistas Compliance and Legal teams and for the overall operation and maintenance of their systems, including any related support or outsourced services.
The IT Business Partner serves as a strategic interface for technology strategy development, solution discovery, service and risk management, and overall relationship management.
Proactively serving as a trusted advisor, the IT Business Partner should have solid knowledge of compliance processes, compliance technology and risk/regulatory processes.
This individual will have a diversified background of IT, operations, and financial services experience, demonstrated project management acumen and excellent vendor management skills, be a strong people leader, in addition to a holistic, service-oriented approach to business relationship management.
This role serves as the primary IT point of contact to executives and takes the lead in enabling them to achieve their objectives through the effective use of technology.
As a member of the Business Technology team, the role also contributes to the development and execution of the overall business technology strategy and ensures its alignment with Vista Equitys business strategy.

Taking an end user point of view, you will work with other technology and business stakeholders to develop an innovative roadmap to transform Vistas compliance and legal system landscape.
This role is based in Austin, TX, New York, NY or remote and is for an immediate start.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership, vision and direction to the compliance and legal executive teams to advance the overall technology strategy while meeting the firms regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement solution roadmaps to ensure successful management of change across the organization.
Responsible for the overall maintenance of Compliance and Legal systems, including any related support or outsourced services.
Develop solution concepts and business cases for new technology investments.
Perform business analysis and prepare recommendations and business plans as needed.
Research and provide solutions and best practices to enhance business processes across the compliance and legal functions.
Act as the key liaison between IT and functional teams to ensure the firm is meeting regulatory standards, information security controls and records management policies across technology solutions.
Own the end-to-end delivery of technology projects in partnership with the functional groups, Vista IT, PMO and external vendors.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT management to develop annual budgets across all relevant platforms and functions.
Possess a broad knowledge of technical and business acumen and use that knowledge to effectively coordinate team members and external resources.
Collaborate with the PMO to maintain effective portfolio management, resource/capacity planning, and adhere to the firms delivery and project governance best practices.
Proactively respond to and resolve system and user issues.
Build out the technical and functional requirements for the system-related projects Compliance or Legal are leading
Qualifications:
Bachelor's and/or masters degree in computer science, information systems, finance, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience Seven or more years of IT experience, or relevant experience managing and maintaining systems used in Financial Services Financial Services industry experience is required, ideally working with compliance and legal teams across multiple processes (regulatory/risk standards, record retention/document management, data management, security controls, business continuity, etc.
) Experience working with workflow technology, content management systems, supervision platforms for messaging/archiving, entity management and business continuity platforms.
Possess strong analytical skills Understanding of regulatory reporting and solutioning technology in a highly regulated industry Effectively manage cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders Ability to show discretion and poise in all situations and appropriate treatment of sensitive/confidential information Strong attention to detail, follow-up, and excellent organizational skills Strong sense of urgency, adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness The ability to function professionally under pressure, while managing multiple concurrent projects and deadlines Must possess personal tact, discretion, and good judgment.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Potential afterhours availability and ability to travel are required The annualized basepay range for this role is expected to be between $190,000-$240,000.
Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed and the applicants skill set.
The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
Other components may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
