1046 We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic executive to join Netspend as Director, Product Marketing (BaaS).
In this position, you will lead the BaaS Product Marketing team, overseeing the positioning, pricing and packaging efforts for Netspends Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) product suite.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product and Engineering, Sales, Account Management and Marketing to drive go-to-market strategies, shape product roadmaps, and help launch new features.
This is a high-impact role where you will play a crucial part in influencing Netspends product and go-to-market strategy and driving new partner adoption.
This role is based at Netspend's HQ in Austin, TX.
Responsibilities:
Gain deep insights into customer segments by engaging with users and prospects, leveraging qualitative and quantitative data provided by the Analytics team.
Apply these insights to develop effective marketing strategies, including content, messaging, and positioning.
Serve as the advocate for existing and prospective users, staying informed about the competitive landscape and becoming the go-to expert for your product area.
Use your expertise to shape product roadmap and strategy.
Develop compelling product positioning and messaging based on user research, market insights, and a thorough understanding of Netspends product offerings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, sales, design, PR, and engineering, to develop go-to-market strategies and drive successful product launches.
Enable user-facing teams, such as Sales and User Operations, by providing them with the necessary tools and information to effectively promote Netspends products.
Collaborate with the Finance and Product teams to establish pricing that aligns with the product value proposition and ensures user success.
Partner with the Product and Growth Marketing teams to define and track key metrics and execute campaigns that drive awareness and adoption of Netspends products.
Maintain a global perspective to support the expansion of Netspends solutions worldwide, adapting marketing strategies, understanding local market needs, competitors, and pricing accordingly.
Manage and lead a team of high-performing Product Marketing Leads.
Requirements:
A storyteller with excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of tailoring messaging to various audiences and differentiating Netspends offerings.
Data-oriented mindset, combining insights with a deep understanding of user needs to develop effective go-to-market strategies.
Highly organized, able to manage complex projects with multiple dependencies and workstreams.
Passionate about product and technology, with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
Ambitious and adaptable, thriving in a fast-moving, dynamic, hyper-growth environment.
Strong team player, collaborating effectively with various disciplines and teams.
Demonstrated experience in people leadership and management.
Minimum of 8
years of relevant work experience spanning marketing, product marketing, product management, sales engineering, operational roles, or strategy consulting.
At least 2
years of experience in people leadership.
Proven track record of working on marketing or growth initiatives throughout a products lifecycle.
Experience in B2B software settings and collaborating with sales teams.
