Job Description The Manager of Account Management will play a leading role in strategically growing the Account Management team through the retention and expansion of our top clients.
The Manager of Account Management will create a measurable structure to support the team in developing long-term relationships with clients and consultatively upselling existing clients into new product lines.
Duties and Responsibilities Leads strategy and directs the team in developing and maintaining relationships.
Builds strategic business plans focused on retention, growing business, and achieving financial targets.
Oversee team activity and KPIs thru SFDC and other internal CRM systems.
Manage team to meet/exceed quota bearing financial goals.
Negotiates contract terms to solidify desired business goals.
Successfully represents client needs within the internal organization to achieve partner goals and implement client requests.
Serves as navigator/expediter for issues requiring support.
Oversees ongoing reporting around operational and financial performance.
Ensures high level of client persistency and participation across a book of business.
Informs senior leadership of client, market, and competitive trends that impact assigned business.
Directs projects or activities across teams to foster collaboration and drive activities to closure.
#LI-Hybrid Qualifications Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

years Sales and/or Account Management work experience.
4
years of Insurance experience.
(P&C and/or Medical/Supplemental Health) 2
years of direct management or leadership experience strongly preferred.
Acquire and maintain all required state licenses.
Advanced knowledge of voluntary benefits products required.
Proficient in full utilization of Salesforce.
com / Salesforce CRM software.
Requires an in-depth understanding of departmental operating procedures, guidelines, and systems.
Excels in developing relationships and empowering team behavior.
Must have excellent persuasion, organizational, problem-solving, decision making, time management, presentation, listening and oral and written communication skills, as well as advanced analytical skills.
Travel required local and national (20%+) during peak season Q1, including overnight stays.
Able to travel monthly to meet with team members in other offices.
