We are looking for a UI Developer to join our award-winning web team.
This role develops UI guidelines to bring UX designs to reality.
This is a hybrid in-person/remote position.

gov) Position Description Performs highly advanced web design and development work for the Creative Services section in the Communications Division.
Work involves managing web environment design, deployment, development, and maintenance activities.
Work requires extensive contact with department leadership and external governmental agencies and organizations.
Employees at this level are virtually self-supervising and assume direct accountability for the work product.
Essential Duties:
This role develops UI guidelines to bring UX designs to reality and has extensive prototyping, wireframing, and visual communications skills.
Adobe Experience Manager is the main platform, but this role should have experience building in various web platforms.
Responsible for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code using front-end web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Uses various development tools to manage web page assets and resources, test, profile and audit website performance, and debug JavaScript.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline.
Relevant work experience may be substituted for degree on a year per year basis.
Substitutions for Minimum Qualifications
Experience:
5 years experience in Interface design, Information architecture, User mobile design and/or web site design and production (Experience can be satisfied by fulltime or prorated part-time equivalent).
Related graduate level education may be substituted for experience on a year per year basis.
Licenses and Certifications:
Valid driver's license.

Prior work in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) UI customization Experience working in a team environment with Agile development processes Competencies:
Extensive knowledge of- HTML,CSS, JavaScript UI design tools including Adobe XD and Figma User-centered web design principles and user-centered development project methodologies Considerable knowledge of- Mobile website and mobile application design and development Web accessibility, Section 508 and WCAG checkpoint compliance Coding for responsive designs and proper display in a variety of targeted browser technologies Ability to- Research and master JavaScript libraries Work to understand stakeholder issues and resolve conflicts Design web pages; handle multiple projects; schedule, test and install web pages;and to communicate effectively Explain limitations and capabilities of computer systems and of techniques used in the design of web applications to both technical and nontechnical staff Embrace opportunities to learn and apply emerging technologies to enhance communications Show initiative and action beyond what is required to improve products or services; is self-starting and completes assignments independently without constant supervision Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
