1K a year What to Expect We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Inventory Manager supporting Tesla Energy Materials Globally.
As an Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire inventory process, including establishing storage criteria/parameters for all Energy Materials, regional stock levels to support required demand across all business segments, designing and optimizing inventory systems, as well as the disposition of excess materials.
Your role will be crucial in improving inventory turnover to support business cash flow while meeting the critical needs of all Tesla Energy Customers.
As an Inventory Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the availability of inventory to support our operations, optimize costs, and meet customer demands.

What You'll Do Inventory Optimization Work closely with engineering, service, demand planning to set optimized inventory planning levels regionally to support all material needs to of the business.
Conduct regular analysis of inventory data to identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and recommend and implement strategies to minimize excess inventory.
Develop inventory projections based on inbound materials, historical consumption data, future demand plans to optimize inventory levels and proactively identify risk of excess/ shortages.
Implement and monitor replenishments strategies to minimize waste and maximize inventory turnover.
Inventory Systems:
Oversee all Energy inventory management systems, ensuring data integrity and system functionality to support timely business reporting.
Identify system deficiencies and work with system program leaders to scope and prioritize improvements.
Analytics and Reporting:
Conduct regular analysis of inventory data, including stock levels, turnover rates, and demand patterns.
Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in inventory data to provide insights and recommendations for inventory optimization.
Analyze historical data and forecasted demand and determine appropriate inventory levels.
Generate reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory levels, turnover rates, stockouts, and other relevant metrics.
Provide regular updates to management and stakeholders on inventory performance and suggest improvement opportunities.
Conduct in-depth analysis of inventory-related costs, such as carrying costs, holding costs, and stock obsolescence.
What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in inventory management.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets to make informed decisions.
Proficiency in inventory management software and other relevant tools.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
