Principal UX Designer, AWS Supply Chain
As part of the AWS Applications group, we're building a new and exciting category of products in Supply Chain Management from the ground-up at a global scale.

o Take an ownership role to define, design and build new products by transforming traditional solutionso Manage the creation of a Design system and collaborate with a team of UX designers, researchers, design technologists, product managers and software developerso Have direct impact on hundreds of thousands of users of AWS serviceso Work with the latest tech including Gen AI, Machine Learning, Blockchain and IoT to tackle real world problemsKey job responsibilitiesWe are looking for a Principal UX Design Lead with a heavy focus on interface/visual product design to help define and design a number of software application services as well as a new design system.
You will lead conceptualization, prototyping, and detailed design to deliver customer-obsessed digital product designs while effectively partnering with product and tech teams.
- Drives a high level of focus and excellence with a talented and opinionated team- Leads with passion and conviction, with the innate ability to inspire others to feel the same- Raises the bar on design quality standards, while focusing on the overarching portfolio's design strategy- Exhibits excellent judgment in negotiating challenging issues that drive product progress- Communicates effectively within the team, across peer groups, and upwardly to senior leadership levels- Plays a visible and driving role in the Design community at large, with unique ideas on creative process, problem-solving, design leadership, and similar areas- Defines, develops, and socializes a clear vision for design innovation and big thinking, while maintaining speed of delivery- Cultivates a culture of using data and customer insights to confidently defend design solutions with senior leaders- Applies systems-level design thinking to drive scalable solutions from the team- Develops processes and identifies opportunities for improvement to drive quality and efficiency, enabling the team to achieve more than they otherwise could- Supports a multi-disciplinary team, serving as a role model, mentor, and motivator in creating a diverse and inclusive working environmentWe are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
