We are looking for a Principal Design Verification Engineer to work in the dynamic Microsoft Artificial Intelligence System on Chip (AISoC) Silicon team.

Required/Minimum Qualifications9
years of related technical engineering experience o OR Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 6
years technical engineering experience or internship experience o OR Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 4
years technical engineering experience or internship experience o OR Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 3
years technical engineering experience.
7
years of experience in design verification with a proven track record of delivering high performance Central Processing Unit (CPU), Vector processors and Graphics Processing Unit (GPU s).
Experience with verification for multiple product cycles from definition to Silicon, including writing test plans, developing tests, debugging failures and coverage signoff in C+
and Universal Verification Methodology (UVM)Substantial background in debugging Register Transfer Level (RTL) designRTL (Verilog) designs as well as simulation and/or emulation environments.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.

Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year.
There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
