At the end of 2021, LegalZoom made the official commitment to being a remote-first company.
Remote-first means that there is no expectation that Zoomers come into an office for a fixed number of days outside of those employees identified as essential onsite workers.
While we remain a remote-first culture, our local offices have evolved as collaboration spaces for Zoomers to meet and engage in person.

OverviewLegalZoom is seeking a dynamic and experienced Group Manager of Vendor Management to oversee our vendor relationships and optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing vendor partnerships, people leadership, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Reporting to the VP of Vendor Management, this position will play a pivotal role in shaping our vendor strategy, ensuring vendor compliance, and driving cost savings while maintaining high-quality standards.

You willVendor Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with the external partner, serving as the primary point of contact for all communications and interactions.
Strategy Development:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement strategic plans that align with LegalZoom's objectives and drive business growth with the vendor.
Performance Monitoring:
Regularly monitor and analyze key performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize performance and achieve targets.
Contract Negotiation:
Lead contract negotiations with the vendor, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that support LegalZoom's interests and objectives.
Risk Management:
Proactively identify potential risks and issues related to the vendor relationship, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact on business operations.
Team Development:
Foster a team-oriented culture with experience motivating and empowering team members.
Provides timely and constructive feedback to further employee growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Legal, to ensure alignment and collaboration on vendor-related initiatives.
Budget Management:
Manage the vendor budget effectively, tracking expenses and ensuring that financial targets are met within the allocated budget.
Vendor Performance Reviews:
Conduct regular performance reviews with the vendor, providing feedback and guidance to drive continuous improvement and excellence in service delivery.
Market Analysis:
Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities, leveraging insights to inform strategic decision-making and identify new business opportunities.
Assess trends in the business and conduct analyses to understand partner performance based on LZ KPIsCreate narratives to help communicate the why behind our performance and expectations for the future.
Build operational rigor and data-backed operating mechanisms to build a data-driven culture in the organization.
You have15
years experience in Sales and or Operations leadership roles with experience in a Brand or BPO spaceStrong negotiation skills and experience with contract management Exceptional people leadership skills and experience developing teamHigh comfort leveling analyzing insights and identifying trends to help form strategic data-backed business decisionsExcellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of leadershipExperience gathering and presenting clear and concise information to executive leadershipStrong organization skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple project simultaneouslySkill managing senior stakeholders while driving work both individually and through business partnersDemonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desiredAbility to travel up to 25% of the time, including international travelBachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferredOccasional travel may be required as needed.

LegalZoom is a remote-first company and the national range for this role is ($135,000 - $175,000).
Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to:
geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs.
In addition, an annual bonus, incentive bonus and/or restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
