Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience with cloud native architecture and development methodologies, including modernizing legacy applications and application performance profiling and tuning, in a customer-facing or support role.
Experience with architectural design patterns, virtualization, and container deployments, Infrastructure-as-Code, and web application security and networking.
Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience with developing scalable architectures using API management, microservice frameworks, and PaaS.
Experience with one or more programming languages.
Exposure to the software development lifecycle.
Exposure to concepts of platform engineering including Infrastructure-as-Code and automation, image management and repository management.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$214,000

Responsibilities Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer technical objections, and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers.
Share in-depth enterprise infrastructure/cloud modernization expertise to support the technical relationship with customers, including product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and partnering directly with product management to prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption to Google Cloud.
Guide customers through assessments of their existing legacy application environment(s), provide recommendations on a prioritization roadmap for application modernization, and identify opportunities for migration to hybrid-cloud computing models.
Structure and execute prototyping workshops to prove out proposed new architectures, developing best practices, and documenting key blocking requirements for prioritization with engineering.
Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required, acting as a public advocate for Google Cloud.
This role may also be located in our Playa Vista, CA campus.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
